EEO-1 Report Status  top ^
The 2004 EEO-1 Report (Standard Form 100) will be the same as that used in 2003 which means proposed changes to race/ethnicity and job categories will not occur this year. The report must be submitted on or before September 30, 2004. Online submission access will begin on August 1 and filers will be sent their password for access at the end of July. More information can be found on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission website at www.eeoc.gov/eeo1survey/.

VETS-100 Report Status  top ^
The 2004 VETS-100 Report will be the same as that used in 2003. The categories of veterans will remain the same and the recently separated veteran category will continue to be optional. However, there is a change in the filing requirement threshold from a federal contract or subcontract of $25,000 to $100,000. The report will not be mailed to contractors but will be made available on the Veterans' Employment and Training Service's website (www.vets100.cudenver.edu) on August 1, 2004. The VETS agency does not anticipate any delays or extensions this year.

OFCCP Focuses on Regression Analyses in Evaluating Compensation  top ^
The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) continues to focus its efforts in evaluating compensation using regression analyses. This method of analysis requires the assessment of all factors that go into determining pay and applies a statistical test to these data. The OFCCP is only using this method in those audits where it believes there is evidence of systemic discrimination. An example of how the OFCCP is currently using the analysis can be found in the Settlement Agreement approved on June 4, 2004 with Wyeth, Inc. and posted on the Department of Labor website at www.oalj.dol.gov/public/ofccp/refrnc/ofclist.htm#2003. The OFCCP either will not divulge how it determines or has no consistent approach for determining in what cases there is a need for use of regression analyses.
